Tina Armando
Project Analyst


Tina Armando Tina Armando has a background in applied research and program evaluation, predominantly in the areas of education, family well-being, and social mobility. She has worked in various settings on quantitative and qualitative research design, data collection, and analysis.

Tina is currently working on multiple projects at OMG, ranging in focus from asset building through manufactured housing opportunities to educational support services for young urban leaders. Prior to joining OMG, she was the program evaluation manager at Children's Literacy Initiative (CLI), a Philadelphia nonprofit organization that provides professional development and high-quality literacy materials to elementary schools in low-income areas.

Before her work at CLI, Tina conducted an evaluation of The Pennsylvania Child Care Challenge Grant Program as a project director at the Family and Children's Policy Collaborative. She also conducted research on work-life balance in diverse occupations and families as a research and project coordinator at the Third Path Institute, analyzed Pennsylvania victimization statistics among the elderly population at the Institute for Survey Research, and made significant contributions to evaluations of public service programs as a research assistant in the Sociology Department, at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tina holds an M.A. in Sociology from Temple University and an honors B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
