New Impact Evaluation of California's Career Advancement Academies

Funded by the California Governor’s Career and Technical Education Initiative, Career Advancement Academies (CAAs) aim to increase students’ basic academic skills while enrolling them in career training programs that lead to high-wage jobs or additional higher education opportunities. The OMG Center is conducting an evaluation of the six-year demonstration project to assess CAAs’ impact on student outcomes. Findings from the evaluation will shape policy recommendations for continued state support and possible expansion of the CAA demonstration. To learn more visit:
